Reading

I caught Henry in this moment while home in Indiana for Christmas.  The teacher in me loves that he's holding/looking at the book correctly and only reading once he turns the page.  :)  Wish I could see what's going on in his mind...

Merry Christmas!

Christmas Day 2012.  Such a special day...watching Henry open gifts and seeing the joy on his face.  It was so much different this year compared to last.  Instead of a baby learning to crawl, we have a toddler who is running around and playing with everything.  He's talking and signing instead of crying for the things he wants and needs.  Merry Christmas everyone...  :)

The May's

Spending time with my Dad's family is always so much fun.  There were 21 of us gathered together this year.  21 people who I know and love.  21 people who love me back and encourage me.  21 people who make me laugh and bring a smile to my face when they are around.  21 people who are connected to me and I'm so incredibly blessed to be a part of this family.

Lazy Morning...

We are just sitting around this morning.  Henry is reading books, talking on the "phone," and snacking.  I'm trying to get things together for our trip tomorrow...and snapping a few pictures.  Couldn't help it. 

Oh and he discovered an old toy that I pulled out from the closet while I was searching for suitcases.  Looks like we'll go ahead and leave that out today. 

Walking with Ella...

Henry loves when his friend Ella visits.  Ella's Aunt Jen is having a baby today and Henry gets to hang out with Ella all day today.  :)  We've already gone on a walk...wish I could have snapped a picture of them holding hands.  It was precious...

Uh-oh...

This was not a part of my plan while I was trying to prepare dinner for our small group.  The funny thing was...he never once tried to eat the sprinkles.  Just kept saying "uh-oh" and pointing.  sigh.

Just for fun...

Henry coughed in my face the other day and I made a big deal about it.  He thought it was hilarious and kept trying to cough on purpose.  Which also lead to him being all red faced and full of giggles.
